How is tuition calculated? Why did tuition change this month?

Monthly tuition is based on how many times your class meets each month. It is auto-calculated with multi-class and multi-family discounts applying. 

For all examples below, count the number of times your class meets each month.

Example 1

For 1 class per week for a 1 student:

1. Orange Family: If one student is enrolled in one class on Wednesday, their class occurs 4 times in the month. So: Your per class cost * 4 classes = your monthly tuition.
2. Purple Family: If one student is enrolled in one class on Wednesday, their class occurs 5 times in the month. So: Your per class cost * 5 classes = your monthly tuition.
3. Blue Family: If one student is enrolled in one class on Wednesday, their class only occurs 3 times in the month due to January 5th being cancelled. So: Your per class cost * 3 classes = your monthly tuition.

Example 2

For (a) 2 classes per week for a 1 student or (b) 1 class per week for 2 students:

1. Orange Family: 
   1. If one student is enrolled in two classes on Wednesday and Thursday, their classes occur 9 times in the month. So: Your per class cost * 9 classes = your monthly tuition.
   2. If two students are enrolled in one class, one on Wednesday and one on Thursday, their classes occur 9 times in the month. So: Your per class cost * 9 classes = your monthly tuition.
2. Purple Family: 
   1. If one student is enrolled in two classes on Monday and Tuesday, their classes occur 8 times in the month. So: Your per class cost * 8 classes = your monthly tuition.
   2. If two students are enrolled in one class, one on Monday and one on Tuesday, their classes occur 8 times in the month. So: Your per class cost * 8 classes = your monthly tuition.
3. Blue Family: 
   1. If one student is enrolled in two classes on Friday and Saturday, their classes occur 10 times in the month. So: Your per class cost * 8 classes = your monthly tuition.
   2. If two students are enrolled in one class, one on Friday and one on Saturday, their classes occur 10 times in the month. So: Your per class cost * 10 classes = your monthly tuition.

Example 3
For (a) 3 or more classes per week for a 1 student or (b) 1 or more classes per week for 2 or more students.

In other words, 3 students or 3 classes or more:

Orange Family: 

1. If one student is enrolled in three classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, their classes occur 13 times in the month. So: Your per class cost * 13 classes = your monthly tuition.
2. If two students are enrolled, one on Tuesday, and one on Wednesday and Thursday, their classes occur 13 times in the month. So: Your per class cost * 13 classes = your monthly tuition.
3. If three students are enrolled in one class, one on Tuesday, one on Wednesday, and one on Thursday, their classes occur 13 times in the month. So: Your per class cost * 13 classes = your monthly tuition.

Purple Family: 

1. If one student is enrolled in three classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, their classes occur 12 times in the month. So: Your per class cost * 12 classes = your monthly tuition.
2. If two students are enrolled, one on Monday, and one on Tuesday and Wednesday, their classes occur 12 times in the month. So: Your per class cost * 12 classes = your monthly tuition.
3. If three students are enrolled in one class, one on Monday, one on Tuesday, and one on Wednesday, their classes occur 12 times in the month. So: Your per class cost * 12 classes = your monthly tuition.

Blue Family: 

1. If one student is enrolled in three classes on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, their classes occur 15 times in the month. So: Your per class cost * 15 classes = your monthly tuition.
2. If two students are enrolled, one on Thursday, and one on Friday and Saturday, their classes occur 15 times in the month. So: Your per class cost * 15 classes = your monthly tuition.
3. If three students are enrolled in one class, one on Thursday, one on Friday, and one on Saturday, their classes occur 15 times in the month. So: Your per class cost * 15 classes = your monthly tuition.

Example 4 
Cancelled class for (a) 3 or more classes per week for a 1 student or (b) 1 or more classes per week for 2 or more students.

In other words, 3 students or 3 classes or more:

Orange Family: 

1. If one student is enrolled in three classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, their classes occur 12 times in the month. Tuesday: 5 times | Wednesday: 4 times | Thursday: 3 times. So: Your per class cost * (5+4+3) classes = your monthly tuition.
2. If two students are enrolled, one on Tuesday, and one on Wednesday and Thursday, their classes occur 12 times in the month. Tuesday: 5 times | Wednesday: 4 times | Thursday: 3 times. So: Your per class cost * (5+4+3) classes = your monthly tuition.
3. If three students are enrolled in one class, one on Tuesday, one on Wednesday, and one on Thursday, their classes occur 12 times in the month. Tuesday: 5 times | Wednesday: 4 times | Thursday: 3 times. So: Your per class cost * (5+4+3) classes = your monthly tuition.
